PSYC 311 The Psychology of Consciousness The most vexing scientific mystery in the world today is Consciousness. Attempts to study consciousness continue to stretch the boundaries of science to such an extent that its very method comes into question. This course offers an introduction to the wide array of theories as to the origins, nature, and function of consciousness, as well as altered states of consciousness, the paranormal, and Artificial Intelligence.
